Surviving and learning how to heal from trauma that could have destroyed her, gave birth to Malika’s life’s work.
When she sat down at the drawing board, she asked herself… what are some of the things that make her feel powerful and how can she use her gifts to build community, promote health, wellness and provide resources to those who need them most?
In the search for her purpose, her journey led her to breathing life into HER Body. HER Mind. HER Power., a self care/self defense wellness retreat for survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault and sex trafficking.
HER Body. HER Mind. HER Power. offers boxing, dance, pole fitness, yoga, spa services, and aims to connect survivors to mental health and legal resources.
